Mission
The mission of the Altona Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in Altona, Gretna, Rosenfeld and Rhineland. This is done by soliciting funds for our capital reserve and distributing the interest earned each year to worthy community projects.Description
The Foundation supports projects related to youth, education, health and community development. A contribution to the Foundation lasts forever as the capital reserve is always left intact while the interest earned is invested back into the community.Board

Foundation Funds
| Youth in Philanthropy | Supports teaching youth about philanthropy through identifying community needs, fund raising and granting funds to local organizations. |
| Rosenfeld Cemetery Fund | Supports the costs of improving and maintaining the Rosenfeld Cemetery. |
| Kendall Ann Wiebe Memorial Award Fund | Supports scholarships to students attending W.C. Miller Collegiate who have a passion in the field of art and or cosmetology. |
| Curtis Klassen Memorial Fund | A flow through fund that supports young athletes. |
| Menno H. Friesen Fund | Donor advised fund that supports minor baseball and minor hockey. |
| Neubergthal Heritage Foundation Fund | Provides annual cash flow to support the Neubergthal Heritage Foundation. |
| Bergfeld Mennonite Church Missions Fund | Supports members of the church with a focus on biblical studies. |
| Altona Community Foundation Future Ag Leader Scholarship | Supports scholarships to students pursuing education in agriculture field. |
| Richard Neufeld Legacy Fund | Supports initiatives that bring light to corners of our community that may go unnoticed and expand our understanding of community. |
| Thomas Sill Fund | Permanent endowment fund for the purposes of generating annual income to be used for grant making. |
